Taking full advantage of the power of PS3, Uncharted: Drake's Fortune is developed using proprietary technology that promises to impress players with incredibly realistic characters and lifelike environments. Building on its legacy of extraordinary storytelling, Naughty Dog has created an elaborate plot that will have players guessing at every turn.

Uncharted: Drake's Fortune, brings players into a world ripe with realism and unexpected juxtapositions. A fallible hero akin to those depicted in pulp-adventure genre films, Nathan Drake brings a humanity and believability never seen before in video gaming, enabled entirely through PS3 technology advancements.

Ant there I thought this was going to be an adventure game.

so what is so impressive about that game? it reminds of the game 'flashback' popular in the late 80's.

to me the graphics look very ordinary, is this the best the PS3 can do? I was really hopping for something spectacular.

You can't tell anything about the graphics by looking at those highly compressed videos that do not even respect the original aspect ratio.

Have anybody seen the graphics and physics from the PSN trailer?

This game is going to rock!

After watching all of these videos, one thing really stuck out to me. This is sonys answer to Gears Of War! It plays similarly with the hiding behind stuff and shooting. Its also got jumping, platforming and more that gears didnt have. Its like a more mainstream Gears! I like it! They just need to work on the guns, they're crappy compared to the gears arsenal, except for that machine gun. It looks great otherwise, and i am sure will do VERY well. Graphics will probably top gears easily, the water effect is gorgeous.

Sad that you truly know nothing about graphics or even the technology that this game is sporting. Oh well. The best help is for them to help themselves.

the animations in Uncharted are one of the best out there. the physics and visuals are also very good. if you think this game looks ordinary, either the videos are poor quality, or you have very high standards.

Yeah. The animation and physics go way beyond anything we've seen on PS3 or the 360 save for a few bugs during the demo, but this is ND, so the end game will be highly polished.

This is easily one of my most anticipated games of 2007. Considering all that we have coming in 2007, that says a helluva lot. Right now, the games I'm most excited to see are:

GTA IV - Xbox 360/PS3 - I mean how can anybody not be excited to check this game out. I'm very excited to try both the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions. My only fear is that driving around New York won't be as fun as driving around suburban areas (San Andreas). Other than that, this is going to be a huge, huge, huge game for 2007

Halo 3 - Xbox 360 - I actually was pretty dissapointed with the Beta. The graphics were nothing special at all. However, I'm not that into the multiplayer crap anyways, I want to see the single player game. I'm still holding out hope that the single player game will be mindblowing.

Ratchet & Clank Future - I'm super hyped on this one. I'm one of the few people out there that really like this genre. Seeing it with near Toy Story type graphics, is going to be pretty freaking amazing.

Uncharted: Drake's Fortune - Before I saw the full video, this was actually No.1 on my list. Right now, I think I have GTA IV No.1 and Halo 3 No.2 with Drake coming in third. The reason I dropped it down a few notches, is because it seems that Drake needs some work on a few things. I'm confident that they will get it all buttoned up by release, but there seems to be so much pressure for this game to make a Thanksgiving release, that I'm slightly worried that ND will get a bit rushed on it, and it might not be as polished as they would like it to be. Hopefully my fears are totally unfounded, but having said all of that, it's easily one of my 4 most anticipated games, and right now I put it slightly ahead of Ratched & Clank.

you might be right about the high standards, I expect quite a bit from PS3, I guess I just have to wait for that incredible game from them.

Please dont come with Gears look, play etc... (Unless that's the 1st game you've ever played )

this has nothing to do with gears of war! Im tired of people comparing games. Leave it alone and nitpick the game.

I'm looking forward to this one for sure. Add this to my growing list of titles to be excited for...

This game is the only reason I haven't sold my PS3 and gotten a 360. I can't wait to get it.

I'm enjoying BD play as well as Motorstorm, Oblivion, and RFOM at the moment - along with the occasional Fight Night round with my brother. These will more than fill my time while I wait on MGS4, Lair, and Uncharted to make their debut. Once they are out, I'll need to take some vacation time. Gameplay has gone to a whole new level on a 123" screen....
