iPOD + multiroom wired/wireless speakers?

I know this may sound terrible, but I have a great system (at least I think it's great: B&K Ref 50, B&K 200.5, Paradigm studio 100s) which used to be used 80% for CDs and 20% for HT. Times change and I now find that I listen almost entirely to my iPod through my B&K system (I dumped all of my CDs onto the iPod and stuck the CDs in the basement). Sounds good, works good, I'm happy while in my family room.

Question is, I now want to get a multiroom audio system...that is, I want to be able to listen to music all over my house. My B&K has a zone B which I suspect I could use somehow, but there are other options. There's the new Eos speaker system which on paper sounds cool, but then I don't use my B&K in the family room. Ditto for all of the systems like Sonos that use your computer hard drive.

Any suggestions for how I still use my B&K, listen to my iPOD, and have it piped throughout the house? I don't need/want the ability to have different sources playing at once...I'm happy with just one. Budget? Let's say A) up to $1000 and B) up to $5000. Help me spend my money!
