Hi, I'm new to these forums and need some help. The problem I'm having is trying to get my bright house 8300Hd recoreder to record to my pc. Also I can't seem to find the firewire port, is there one for this model. Another, can someone point me in the right direction or give me some help? The reason I ask is I went to the hd-dvd thread and found someone had some homemade star wars hd-dvds from hd broadcast. Thats why I need help to learn how to record to my pc. Finally how can I tell if the stuff i want to record it protected or not. I just think this would be cool if I could get this to work like the rest of you. I forgot to let you know I don't have mac, vista, or xp, I have the Os before xp.
Any help would be great. I'm kinda new at this stuff.
