I'm trying to read thru the pages, but figured I would post. what's the best speakers for heights? The PM1000? Since I have CLR3000 and BP7000SC, SM450 would probably be best, but since they will be mounted right on the wall, i think the PM1000 are probably better...?
Better for mounting yes. The SM450's would be a better fit the bigger the room is. If you haven't already ran wires for heights, my personal experience was you may want to try some out temporarily on ladders ect. I had my place wired for heights during construction, but decided try a pair of PM1000's rigged up on ladders before committing to mounting them. And in my untreated room I didn't hear any real improvement with PLIIz or Neo X even with the usual demo material WALL-E, Expendables 2... ect. Of course who knows how much a improvement I would need to hear had I bothered to upgrade equipment and mount them to justify their presence.
