BR movie commercials...

Thread Starter
Up to now BR movie commercials have always mentioned: "Out on DVD and Blu-Ray disc"

I just saw the Ghost Rider commercial last night and what do you know there changing it up a bit: "Out on DVD and Hi-Def Blu-Ray"

Someone on their marketing team must have done a poll or something. Why do you have to mention Hi-Def? I thought the BR camp mentioned somewhere that the public associates Blu-Ray with Hi-Def. HDDVD camp should take note of this and start pushing the combo disc only idea. HDDVD = Hi Def, unmistakeable and natural progression of DVD.

Have you guys notice anything else diffrent?

What does this have to do with HD-DVD software?

Same thing with HD DVD movies and it depends on the studio

Universal
"Breach, now available on DVD and HD DVD"... "Smokin' Aces now on DVD and HD DVD"

Warner Bros
"Happy Feet, now on DVD and High Definition"

Sony
"Little Man, now on DVD and Blu-Ray"

The forum police makes the rounds...

What does your reply have to do with this thread?

Back on topic, I see your point. Honestly, nothing has been consistent with the messaging for either camps.
