Please help! 40V2500 HDMI Issue

Hello everyone!

I've been lurking here for a few months and I decided to buy the 40v2500 based on what I've read. So I recently bought a desk top too with a 8800gts video card. I was running on vga at 720p for about a week and then I purchased a DVI->HDMI cable. I plugged the dvi end into my comp, and the hdmi end in the computer and it ran 1080p beautifully 1:1 pixel mapped and everything for about 2 days. Now, I can't get it to show ANYTHING that computer puts out over the HDMI cable.

Does anyone know what the hell happened and how to fix it?? I'm at my wits end trying different resolutions and ports and everything. I think it's the TV because the video card does everything else its supposed to do fine.

Please help me!!

thanks

See if you can use the TV on that input port with a external DVD player to make sure you didn't busted the TV.
If that works then list the other details like OS, CARD and software used to play etc.
good luck.

OS: Windows XP SP2
Card: EVGA 8800gts 320mb
Nvidia software for resolution setting.

I don't have anything with an HDMI port...

Everything else works fine on the TV. Could it be a bad cable?? I mean it was workign for two days straight

What changed? Did you turn it on one day and it didn't work?

That's exactly what happened. It was hooked up displaying 1080p just fine, and I turned it off to go to sleep and then it didn't work the next morning at all over the HDMI.
