Would like to get your perspective between these two speakers - Revel F32 and the Veritas 2.4i.
Background:
I currently own the Veritas 2.2i (bookshelf) and the C2.0i (center). Moving to a new home where I will have a "dedicated" audio/video room. I considered purchasing stands for the 2.2i's, but after listening to them on stands vs. floor standing speakers, I decided to replace the 2.2i's.
The new room will be 16' X 17' with concrete floors being covered by hardwood floors and an area rug. Ceiling is 10'.
Use will be 70% music and 30% HT.
Electronics - Anthem AVM 30 and MCA 50.
Options:
1. Replace the 2.2i's with the 2.4i's. This will allow me to save a few $'s since I would be able to keep the center channel. Like the dynamics, nice bottom, and musicality. Finish is not quite as nice as the Revels nor is the soundstage. But they do have a nice presence.
2. Go with the Revel F32s and the C32. Like to soundstage and musicality. Nicely finished.
