Hello all,

Not exactly sure where to put this, so here seems the least inappropriate?

I'm thinking of transforming a digital signal to analog, and I thought I'd ask for some suggestions about what interconnects to use.

Considering it is an analog signal, shorter is better, but exactly how does a short cable like this: http://www.priceguidenetwork.com/com...connector.html
compare to a longer, but probably more robust cable, such as this:

I'm thinking at 12 inches with proper shielding quality loss will be equal to if not even better than the longer cable. However, this short length would make my setup a little awkward, considering the adapter and the distance from my tv's port to the devices, even on the same rack. Would a similar (although from the looks of it, inferior) 3ft vga male to male from monoprice be comparable?

Thanks for your time!
