I appreciate your point, however this firmware upgrade is for all
the second generation players. For fundamental features common to all players, the problems are the same for all players.
Nevertheless, here's a more explicit report with regard to my previous posting #29. On my HD-XA2 player, connected to an InFocus ScreenPlay 7205 projector via HDMI to DVI, the player continues to have a colorspace problem in that PC RGB video levels are incorrectly being sent to the display instead of studio video (sRGB) levels.
Based on past reports, this suggests that all second generation players connected via HDMI to DVI that had this problem, still suffer from this problem after the update.
