Hi everyone, thank you for your responses, you are driving me crazy with new options and I really like that!!!
I'm not an impulsive buyer, every decision I made for my system was with no less of three month of reading at least 8 hours per day mainly through this forum, since my receiver to my acoustically transparent screen that so far I think is the best decision I made so far.
Back to the main point, you narrowed my decision to JBL L series, I don't think on HTD no more after reading your posts, so some details about my setup, my room is very, very little, right now in a long business trip, but first I will do at arriving will be very heavy acoustic treatment from RealTraps, and buying new LCR speakers, I will definitely will buy the same brand.
My AT Screen is 80" 16:9, I'm thinking upgrading it with a 2:35 screen same high but wider, but taking my actual setting my left and right speakers are at the very outside border of the screen (screen frame 2.5") my distance from screen is 8' and from LR is 8.5'.
I think maybe matching 3 LC2 will put the speakers too close if I put them behind the screen, I would take the L/R and place them as my actual speakers right out of the external border, but I have a concern about that, it bothers me constantly when an actor walk across the screen and talk in the extreme and the left or right speaker pick-up the dialogue and the sound feels coming from outside the screen, I talked to a THX guy and told me that given the dimension and distance from the screen I can test placing the L/R behind, as they are right now my L/R angle is 45 degrees as THX specifications. My LCRs are Onkyos SKF-980's that came with my original HTiB and my side and back surrounds are Polk Audio FX/i 3 Di-Pole and Bi-Pole respectively, I suppose they actually are not voice matched but I've seen about 100 or 200 movies with that setup and I never feel nothing bad with the front through back soundstage, I think because the 90% of sounds in the back are bullets rebounds and people out of context talking or some explosions that not match originally the sound of the fronts, maybe in a airplane scene when it goes front to back I would feel that, but I NEVER think of that before reading about timbre/voice matching, in my hundreds of movies I never feel anything wrong with that, but hey! maybe because of you I will hear that now and got crazy
For music I only use DIRECT AUDIO setting from my OPPO BDP-93 NuForce Xtreme Edition, so only Stereo and I suppose while L/R are matched I will feel everything right...
As for the movies the difference between the L820s and LC2 I suppose will be felt in a scene as Transformers where a Truck passes across the screen and I think I will notice the less deep motor engine and heavy truck sound from the L820s but with the voice the L820s and LC2 are totally matched right?
Sorry for the long post, I just wanna ask everything I can think right now to make my final decision.
Thank you so much, the Phil post with the review help me so much in this matter. By the way, Phil did you delete your post? I only can see it in my e-mail not in the thread.
I wait for your other considerations.
