Any new car HD radios on the horizon?

JVC introduced the HDR1 in January 2006 - it's been 1.5 years now. Are there any rumors or news on new HD radios for cars? I would like to upgrade my standard car radio/CD player, but frankly I find the JVC just plain ugly. Why can't we have a simple and elegant looking HD radio for car use?

I Second that!! I find Visteon's products actually decent looking, but they're not replacements for your head unit. I'd gladly replace my factory stereo with an aftermarket HD unit if they weren't all so ugly and "flashy"

Yes Visteon's units are much cleaner/nicer looking. I wish they made a complete head unit, with CD player. I'm surprised we don't have other manufacturers with affordable, decent looking, good performing car units out yet ...
