Co-creators Ethan Reiff and Cyrus Voris have inked a two-year, seven-figure overall deal with Warner Bros. Television. The pact calls for the pair to develop new series projects for the studio. The duo also confirmed their Showtime drama won't be returning for a third season as Voris told Daily Variety: "When it became clear that 'Sleeper Cell' wasn't coming back for a third season, we immediately had a meeting with [Warner Bros. Television]."
I enjoyed the second season as much as the first. This was a top-shelf series. But, it's understandable that a third season would be stretching it kinda' thin.
I miss those old characters. Michael Ealy and Oded Fehr were just great in this series.
Sorry for the 2 year bump, was just randomly thinking about this show today.
A great series. I have been enjoying season 2 on Dir. TV Ch. 101 every Wed night, along with the great series Smith with Ray Liotta. Tomorrow is the final episode of Sleeper Cell. Oded Fehr, Michael Ealy and the rest of the cast we're very under-rated.
