The Samsung LN-TN5265F was top rated by Consumer Reports. They said that the Samsung "had deep black levels, and great contrast, which gave it a bright picture even in a well-lighted room. It had rich colors, but it screen was more reflective than that of most LCDs."
I would not spend $3,500 for a 52 inch LCD that has a more reflective screen than most LCDs.
I would much rather have a Mitsubishi or Toshiba 65 inch DLP. I know that these are not flat panels, still the impact of a 65 inch DLP is much greater. And the 65 inch DLPs for about $2,000 are a much greater value.
I compared a 65 inch Panasonic 1080P plasma, to a 73 inch Mitsubishi DLP, and the 73 inch Mitsubishi DLP had vastly more impact than the 65 inch Panasonic 1080P plasma.
