A puzzling artifact. What's your take?

On my blog, I just posted my observations of a puzzling artifact I encountered on a NC station's HD2 stream.

Why not post your observations here?

Because a)-it's a cheap, sleazy plug for my blog (kidding). The real reason b)-is that it was easier to do it this way, and post a link to it on other HD radio discussion groups. Most don't allow posts which are identical to those on other sites, so I couldn't simply copy and paste.

To have a continuity of your thinking it would be better if a synopsis of your observations were posted here. Another way to look at it, if others had their own blogs, it would be a nuisance to go back and forth. Although I appreciate you making up your own blog and respect your decision, I don't think your own blog is a viable option since you have ample opportunuty to express yourself here. A viable alternative would be a reference web site such as the one Brian Beezley has set up. Look at http://ham-radio.com/k6sti/

Richard - Unless I'm mistaken, Bran Beezly doesn't have a Blog, just a little website with various articles and product reviews.

btw,
dvorak.org/blog

[sorry... Twit joke]

I thought what Brian had was a blog and did not know there was a difference between a web site and a blog. Can you help me out so I can understand the difference?

ok... a "Blog" is better known as a "web log." With a service like Blogger, you create a post (with a title) (you can add images, links, etc...) and post it on your Blog. The Blogger software automatically puts that post on the top of your front page. It'll also put that post in the RSS feed and create an archive for you, so you can look through months and years of posts (only a few are on the front page). In most Blogs, you can also comment on the posts.

Thank you for the explanation. I've changed my wording in today's post to Mike.
