I definitely recommend V for Vendetta for all the HD DVD owners who don't have it. Fyi it is a very political movie so if you dislike those then it might be one to skip

I may think about V for Vendetta. Probably pick up Goodfellas. Don't care to own Phantom (I've seen it already). Already own Last Samurai and Troy.

nice!!! I've been meaning to pick up V For Vendetta and Last Samurai for a while now.

Naw, he's usually just commenting on the lack of action the film has. He's right, in a way, the trailers for it made it seem like it was action packed, but in reality there are only around 2 or 3 action scenes in the entire film. Still a great film, imo, though.

Maybe the deal will be vague on only including these titles and I can pick something else up at CC!!!

is the low audio fixed for last samurai?

I didn't notice any low audio on my copy of it. I don't know if mine was the original release or a re-issue though.

V for Vendetta is good for the bombastic music. The politics are hardly offensive in my opinion.

The movie may not be for those who have no veneration for the vicissitudes of political viciousness. However as verisimilitudinous as the movie is I validate the veracity of it's ficticious nature, verily I vow to never promote a vacuous moviou lest I cause unecessary vituperation and become the involuntariy victim of vivisection.

....err enjoy the music.

Own all the ones I would want from that list. Oh well.

I own every disc on that list except Phantom, which I'm not particularly interested in. Otherwise I'd be there for sure!

I am always happy to see HD discs on sale, but I wish there would be more variety. Goodfellas, Troy, and The Last Samurai have all been on sale at least three times before at Fry's, for example. Blu-ray is actually worse in this situation... Movies like Into The Blue, The Fifth Element, and Black Hawk Down have been on sale in various stores a half-dozen times or more, every time there is a BD sale.

It's clear what Warner is doing here.

Their forthcoming "Best of.." series just so happens to have the movies here on sale bundled.

For anyone looking to save every penny. Take the ad to CC. They match the price plus 10%, so you can save an extra buck.

Maybe CC will have some deals of their own. I try to avoid BB like the plague. They only get my business when they have the best price or the only store in town who has what I want. They've annoyed me too many times.

im in for V for Vendetta even though i already own the dvd version for $15 its worth it. The last samurai might be another pickup as well.
