I'll let you judge for yourself. It's all kinds of awesome in the most embarrassing way lol. I love it and i don't even like rock. This game truly has the chance as being the funniest game ever.

Here are a few links.

Very nice!

While the visuals aren't up to snuff like GHII on 360, the band part just rocked! So, it's not karaoke like I thought. She was singing, but I could hear Axels' voice in there. The guitars seemed a bit off from the original song, and I thought we were getting originals this time around, no?

At any rate...I'm all over this like white on rice baby!

This looks like a focus group setting.

And what's up with the "WIRED" mic!?!??! Come on now!

Looks good but they look like losers...I really dont like the drum setup and can only see myself buying this for the guitar part only...

That's the thing that will be great about this game. If you want to sing, hey buy the game and a mic....it'll cost you the same as a regular karaoke game. If you want to play the guitar, buy the game and the guitar. So on...

You can fill any role you want in the band, and with every peripheral (instrument) you buy, you are basically buying a new game (minus extra songs). Coupled with online play, this is going to be an amazing game (coming from a GH2 junkie).

Good outlook on that game...You know its really a bargain to buy this game complete otherwise its a disaster to by each part individually. This game is a definite buy especially coming from the company who reigns supreme in microtransactions I know it will be worth the cash alone. If I could buy the accessories super cheap like 40 bucks for the drums I MIGHT do that but for the time being im sticking with the guitars...

Im hoping though that yourfree360games has this up as one of their offers...I will definately snatch it up then.

I was most impressed that they seemed to be using the x-plorer without a hitch so looks like I'll be buying just he drums and maybe the special guitar controller later.

The trailer was made from an old build of the game quite some time ago for internal purposes- basically to get people working on the game excited. The song was one we have considered for the game but haven?t locked down, and you may have noticed that the trailer footage was made so long ago that the people in the video are playing old instruments and prototypes.

I guess I need to get my 8 year old and 5 year old practicing on GHII so they will be ready to jam this fall. My 9 year old daughter is already warming up her pipes on Karaoke Revolution on the old X-box. The family band will be ready to go.

Anyone know if they will include some of those groovy Brady Bunch songs so we can all get together and win some cash to replace my Mom and Dad's broken vase?

cant wait for the drum kit. not just for the game, but also for the most affordable electronic drum kit, plug the USB into your pc, and wa-la.

The drum kit is by far the part I'm most excited about.

Drums + Guitar looks cool, the singing I could do without. Hopefully you can disable that part of your "band" while playing online.

I have two GH 360 guitars, so if I were to pick this up it'd be solely for the drums as well.

wow... I'm impressed, none of the "why don't you just go pick up a real guitar" people have chimed in yet! Is this a record?

Anyway, OT, I'm absolutely looking forward to this game now. I was worried about both GH3 and RB when I heard about them months ago, but even with the video being quite dated, I'm STILL ready to buy this right now.

Already have my friends ready to chip in on the full kit too, so it shouldn't be that bad monetarily, and it'll get to reside at my house because I have the best setup out of us.

Well with any luck they've finally tried it and realized that it's not competing at all with real guitars.

I'm thinking with this game it may be drummers that will start to get PO'd. I've seen comments that the devs themselves are saying that if you can beat this game in expert mode on the drumkit then you can pretty much play the drums for real. I've never even tried to play drums but I find it hard to imagine this basic setup would teach anything more than the absolute basics. Sort of a drum introduction course.

I'm mostly looking forward to trying out the drums though I'm thinking I might find it really harder than I thought. While I was watching one of the videos I was trying to tap my foot at the same time the thick bar crosses the line as well as mimicking the motions of beating on the drums in time with the dots (the center track is the one for drums if anyone wants to try that). It's not as easy as it might seem to coordinate hands and feet. It'll be fun to try though.
