Hi all,

Will be visiting the Big Apple this summer, just wondering if there are any good hi-fi or home theatre shops in Manhattan? Any suggestions most welcome Cheerio!

Sound by Singer is a good one, but VERY high end. Also, Harvey Electronics is decent, but on the higher end as well.

I have bought at

Michael Kay is well known in high-end circles in surprising foreign places I have visited. The store is very high-end but not presumptuous.

A larger store and covering a wider spectrum; I used to browse their used gear shelves for steals (like my cherished Levison 22.5), but now it's sold online.

Stereo Exchange at 627 Broadway.

Not huge, not too small, nice variety, from good value to high-end.
