For those with a Samsung HLS5687...upconversion question

Well, looks like I am going with it more than likely. Question about upconversion. I will be running a Toshiba A2 which outputs at 1080i. Since this tv upconverts to 1080p, will it upconvert with the hdmi. I will be running the A2 to an onkyo 674 receiver via hdmi and then to the tv via hdmi.

It will scale all inputs to 1080p, no matter whether component or HDMI. With a 1080i input, it just has to deinterlace.
