Um...oh...BURP..ZAP...POW

Dual TC-1000 12" SVC, opposed driver, sealed 2 cu ft net vol per driver. 1.5" thick walls all around.

Crown XTi 2000 for power. Highpass 50Hz,lowpass 14Hz...no EQ boost. In room with room gain it sounds...great.

The bottom sub is my dual TC-3000 15" QVC Crown XTi 4000 powering that beast.

Next one up...a dual opposed LMS-5400 18" ...power source...TBA.

Ear, for the sake of the rest of us, could you possibly try to hone your photo skills? I for one, would like to take a better look at some of your creations, but your photos do not do them any justice.

Also, I know you had mentioned in the past getting some test equipment. How are things going on that front? Your projects deserve decent testing.

How does the dual 12 compare to the Fathom? Looks great... two great TC Sounds subs!

FYI - you've got the highpass and lowpass frequencies flipped in your description.

...ahem...YES.

I finished the dual TC-1000 12" last night...

I will compare seriously today, when I get home. First impressions last night...it is a winner.

Under half the weight on the larger unit, finish will be top shelf...not sanded(this weekend will be done).

All in all I am bitten by the DIY bug so much...I have material ready for my largest sub ever.

Woha...

This little TC Sounds baby sub is very very impressive ! Compared with Fathom f112,f113,Klipsch RSW15 and the large dual TC-3000 sub.

Detail, extension,,impact and clean output it does it all very well, for two low cost TC-1000 12" woofers...I am very impressed.

I can get massive output in the tiny room and solid output in the large room. Clean and defined are the best ways to describe this new sub.

Two of these in a large room and you have an inexpensive solution to anihalate anything commercial costing two to three times as much in overall quality(providing you have proper tooling and good building skill).

Pics...to come...

Also think about building a box for eight TC-1000 12" SVC woofers.
