My main plan is to replace my horrible surround Onkyo HTiB speakers with my current C603s and than purchase new fronts.
Earlier this week i was going to get c601s through the WWstereo sale but for $50 more I can get the C603s through a local audio shop here so that idea was out the window.
This leaves me with 3 options which im kind of torn between.
1. Purchase a brand new pair of C603s for $300 locally (same place i got my current speakers)
2. Purchase a brand new pair of C803s for $650 on amazon (to replace my front c603s which would in return replace the Onkyo HTiB surround speakers)
3. Purchase 2 pairs of C603s and have a full 7.1 setup of C603 speakers in my room for $650 (they would replace my C400sur speakers and the HtiB surround speakers)
Im just not sure if that extra $350 for the c803s would really justify the jump for me.
I just spoke to the guy that runs the local audio store which I purchased the original 603s from, he stated that shelling out an extra $350 for the 803s would be pointless for me since I have daul subs and I already have 603s. I mean if im going to spend $600 i can also buy 2 pairs of C603s and have a full C603 7.1 setup (hahah)
Any suggestions on this?
My current setup consists of
Fronts: Jamo C603
Center: Jamo C6CEN
Surrounds: Stock Onkyo HTIB front speakers (which will be replaced by the C603 fronts after the upgrade)
Rear Surrounds: Jamo C400 surround
Subs (daul): Hsu VTF2-MK3, Hsu STF-2
