Is there a list of known HDCP flagged Blu-ray titles?

Thread Starter
My apologies if the subject of this message is a terribly newbie question.

I've tried looking in all the usual places (including this forum) and haven't found anyone keeping a list of Blu-ray pre-recorded movie titles that turn on the HDCP copy-protection flag when sending via HDMI. (More apologies if I'm not using the right jargon or have my concepts warped.)

Am I to assume that ALL Blu-ray titles have HDCP enabled, or NONE of them do, or that no one has bothered to keep a list?

HDCP doesn't really have anything to do with blu-ray. That's inherent in HDMI (or DVI w/ HDCP) -- it's always on as long as HDMI is used and is optional with DVI... as far as I know.

I believe you are talking about the flag that causes video to go to the 960x540 res (or whatever it is) when component or any other non HDCP connection isused -- that flag won't be used until after 2011 or some such. No titles currently use that.

I think the term is ICT - Image Constraint Token. As noted above, it's not supposed to be used yet, but I have no way to check that. Turning it on is supposed to turn on the HDCP encryption link.

I believe the HDCP is always on. I don't think you can hook up a DVI monitor w/o HDCP, for instance.

HDCP is there to keep people from doing full digital rips. The ICT is another layer of the DRM system. There's also the DCT (?) that, if on, won't even let you use an analog out (nothing uses that, either).
