Has anyone tried using sun blocking, window shade material for a screen? When I worked third shift I got these shades that block sun light, and do it very well.
Anyways, they come in 3 interesting colors, Bright white, matte white, and a matte gray. One side appears to have a bit of shine and the other is matte. Since we only need the material you can get a 55" X 96" shade for about $80.00. If it is on a roller they add 12" to the length. So you end up with a piece 55" X 108" or just get it 84" long as the additional 12" on the roller would bring it up to 96".
I have a Mits. HD1000U on the way and will be in the basement with total light control.
