I did a search on here for the sound issue similar to this one and didnt find anything, although i still feel like this is a common problem....
basically the setup consists of an optical sound cable connecting my denon s301 to a time warner cable box which is then connected to a Panasonic plasma model TH50PH8UK. (component) The Plasma is also connected through HDMI to the denon itself for dvd playback.
The explostions/bullets/sound effects are EXTREMELY loud/deafening whereas I can barely hear the dialogue/conversation between the 2 people onscreen. This happens during the sopranos and even when i'm just watching a dvd such as seven or anchorman. keeps me on my toes with the remote for volume...
Anyone else have this problem with the same setup perhaps?
any help pointing me in the right direction would be much appreciated.
