Deciding between the upcoming Sony LCD KDL-46V3000 or the KDS-55A3000 SXRD (I have to get a Sony - long story).

I noticed on the SonyStyle website that the LCD features 10-bit color processing and panel. Sorry if this question seems a bit ignorant but I am wondering whether this is a feature I should be looking for on the SXRD or whether it doesn't apply because the SXRD uses different display technology?

Any other considerations in making the choice? Obviously the SXRD is a larger screen for less money and has better pixel response times (I watch a lot of sports), but I like the slender LCD profile and what I understand to be wider viewing angle. Will be viewing from about 7-10 feet away in a room with average lighting.

Thoughts?
