LG Bows Opus Line of 1080p LCD TVs
Sets of 42-, 47- and 57-inch LCDs mark LGs new Opus line, ranging from $2,499 to $4,499, respectively, and will be out in September.
Sony has Bravia, Sharp has Aquos, Toshiba has Regza, Panasonic has Viera and now LG has Opus, a brand-within-the-brand that's supposed to set the company's best TVs apart from the pack.
The Opus line was launched last week at LG's summer line show at Christie's, the art and pop culture auction house in Manhattan, where the company also showed its HDTV refrigerator, a new steam dryer and announced its foray into portable navigation.
