I have a HD Tivo, a Panasonic G10 plasma, and a Denon 1913 AVR. When i try to connect the tivo to the AVR, all i get is DENON on the screen and nothing from the Tivo. This doesn't happen with my PS3 using the same cables. anyone know of what specifically i need to do to make this work?
Did you use the same input on the Denon w/the Tivo as you did the PS3? Are you using HDMI?
I hadn't tried that yet, i can though. I was using CBL/SAT for the tivo and GAME for the ps3. Yes I'm using HDMI only for video, and would like too for audio as well from both sources. when i had my 1803, i was using hdmi for video and optical for audio.
It should be possible though, right? There isn't anything that would limit the tivo's capability to output video/audio over hdmi and into the receiver?
I was going to buy some new cables too, probably the newest hdmi w/ethernet, even though i don't need them for my current setup, not sure if that will fix anything though, and I'm using 1.3 or 1.4 cables now and an older 1.1 to output video to tv
