It's the night before thanksgiving and I've had more than a few beers (as you do before the start of a 4 day weekend).

TO ANSWER YOUR QUESTION, NO UNTIL I READ YOUR POST, I'VE NEVER HEARD OF THIS METHOD OF STORING DVDS.

I'll come back tomorrow, if the world hasn't ended as I know it (or isn't trying to get out of my skull) and take another look.

I will say again though, if you are having problems with discs becoming unusable in only a couple of years (my Blade disc is easily over 10 years old), then *you* have a problem with the way that they are stored, and *you* need to seriously look into it.

I have *NEVER* replaced a disc due to anything, nevertheless some sort of ROT.

The only caveat that I would add here is that there is a question mark on DVD +/- burnt discs.

Also, that link/URL you provided is in-complete. Please put in the complete version.

Pre-ordered The Dark Knight. I know it's not that great of a transfer, but the price was decent and I wanted to watch this again. I also picked up POTCead man's Chest, This Christmas, and No Reservations used from Moviestop.

This is becoming tedious. I have read the thread that you have mentioned.

Sorry to burst your bubble, but the listing for Speed BD does not mention rot. The word is not mentioned anywhere in the first post. There is an issue, but no rot. There is also no mention of any other BDs suffering from rot.

Also, during our litle discussion back in Nov, I believe someone else (Arrownt maybe) pipped in and also said that they haven't had a disc go bad because of rot.

Can we stop this now?
