Newer houses will usually have a supplied ground coming out of the house for telephone and cable. It would just be a thick bare copper wire. If that isn't there the second best option would be the power riser provided it's metal. If not then maybe use cold water but there other conditions that need to be met for cold water to be a valid ground. Also, make sure to use at least 12 ga wire for your ground.
