I just started my new TC project. PAictures soon. Not as much as before, but, just
as much fun

12" TC Sounds epics in 2 cabinets for my living room. I have pictures, but need to load them. They are the drivers I had at the GTG, but in a much roomier cabinet. We will see.

Have not been here in a while. Well, I have been training for a master's bodybilding contest for last 7 months and today was the day. Needless to say I was 202 yesterday at the registration down from 296 in november. I did not receive my trunks that have been on order and promised me for many weeks and months. They were supposed to be delivered to the IP casino in Biloxi, but they did not arrive. So, the training was all for naught in the respect of the contest. I did get a good tan - too good for that matter, and I am in the best shape of the last 25 years. I guess I can consider that a win. I ate 2 times since the registration and I feel great other than the let down from not competing. Oh well, I am just babbling to clear my mind.

Now, I want to build some speakers, and finish my HT. I saw some treo subs at a pawn shop in Biloxi and they were massive drivers.

I am back for now.

I tried everything for 2 weeks. I live in New Orleans and for some reason we still seem to be out of touch with the world. I tried to get them at the contest. I thought someone would have something, but nothing. So, we went to the beach and hung out in the hotel and ate at the casino. The crabs were out of this world- and the cheesecake was superb. I cannot wait to get some more.

Keep giving it some effort. Working out seems to come in spurts for most people. Just thinking about it or talking about it can be motivational.

Hard to say lately. I have a ton of things going on right now that keeps me from the hobby. I am still in the process of finishing my 12" subs, so until then, I need to just plan and read in order to get some good ideas.

Just back from Disney. It never ceases to amaze me!

Hopefully, I will have some time to finish this project soon. Electrical is almost finished and I still need to hook up all the amps and wiring for the upgrades.
Maybe soon.

I still like Philharmagic. I like the 3D as well as the sound. But, I think it is mostly the entire presentation taken as a whole that gives me the same good feeling everytime.

The fireworks cannot be beat. The use of sound and lighting along with the display is the key to the show.

This visit concentrated on riding the most roller coasters and "harder stuff" because my kids were going crazy for those things.

I do not follow.

It seems to be partly because of the massiveness of the theaters that gives it the effect that I feel. It is not specifically linked to the actual dB levels only- I think. I am still in the process of trying to figure it all out. I plan to take a SPL meter next time to see what kind of dB's I am experiencing.
