hi people!
I am looking for a way to adjust the color convergence of a lcd beamer:
I switched some time ago from a dlp beamer to a panny pt-ax100 lcd beamer. now i built a htpc as a source for it, and I am looking to find a solution to the only problem, which i have with the panny: bad color convergence.
Its red panel seams to be a bit more then one pixel to the right and one pixel lower than the other two colors. First I searched in the settings of the beamer and found no options for adjusting convergence. I have talked to the panny support, but they say that it is normal with value beamers, to have "less then perfect convergence"...
Then I searched in the drivers of my ATI card of my htpc, to find a possibility to "move" the red signal to the best position, but there were no such options. I downloaded powerstrip, because I thought it could do the job, but again nothing!
I'm sure, I'm not the first to think about this, to adjust the convergence by the graphics card, but I did not find anything on the net or in the forum! Can someone help me?
