Hey guys.
The time has finally come to go buy myself a new TV.
Ive posted a couple times trying to get a feel for where I want to be, and I had settled on a olevia 542i for around $1000. Ive got just over a grand, but i tighten things up a bit I could probably $1200.
These are my main choices:
1. Olevia 542i (cheapest of the bunch, but only 720p, and 1 HDMI input)
2. Vizio VU42LF (supports 1080p res, 2 HDMI inputs)
3. Vizio GV42L (supports 1080p, but downs it to 720p, 2 HDMI,
4. Vizio GV42LF (native 1080p, 2 HDMI )
I thought 720p was enough, but for another $200 and extra HDMI input should I spend a bit more and future proof for 1080p?
I dont have a costco membership, is it worth getting or using my dads to get the VU42LF and trying to catch a price drop within 90 days?
What is the best value/purchase? Considering picture quality, service for returns, inputs, etc.
