PT AX100u or Epsom Home 1080

I currently have the AX100.I have been very happy with the picture it throws.Problem is it is beginning to have the iris issue. My first AX100 developed the iris problem at 120 hours. This one is 140 hours.
Should I get the Panny fixed or return it to the big store that I can't name and get the 1080?
I watch sports(can't wait for college football season) and movies on Oppo 971 but do not have Blu ray as yet.
Are the images from these projectors comparable?
Is the Epsom more reliable.I should not have problems with a $2000(when I purchased in Feb)toy after 6 months and 140 hours.

My dad always said, "Third time's a charm"!

Alot of stores do a 3rd return lemon policy, cause sometimes you are just unlucky.

Are you happy with the AX100?

Personally since you have the light canon already give it a 3rd try and if it does the same thing, it will be after Cedia and prices may have dropped on the 1080. and if it works out you can wait till 1080 really starts to hit 720p prices in a year or so and upgrade then and get alot more bang for your buck.
