Hey, im trying to get my sister a good system for her money. I might not be a doing a good job. Anyways, she doesnt need something crazy so shes just looking threw Best buy stuff (I know its not the best, but good enough)

So she found this sub

Kenwood 10" Subwoofer (KSC-WD250T)
(details of sub at bottom)

It goes for 290$ Canadian plus tax. Which she says is all she needs.

As far as an amp goes, can anyone recommend one or tell me what I should be looking for? What type of amp it needs etc?

Thanks guys

many times B&M stores such as BB will have package deals available that will match an amp and sub together. IMO, (and i am not quite sure what that translates into US$?) but, there are far better quality subs available out there at competitive pricing. i love Kenwood HU's, but their sub line is nothing i would mess with. i am not trying to scare her away from Kenwood altogether, but do some more searching around locally or via the net. good luck...
