Yeah, I'll be glad to get my AVR problem resolved and get a new, working unit in place. My wife is really missing not having the surround amp running (were using the TV's onboard speakers
so she has been pushing me to make a decision and thus pruchase something). I'm glad I did not have to resort to buying an 805...I know it would have been overkill for my needs and probably given me other problems due to its size and heat issues.
I'm sure that it gets confusing and hectic for the online vendors when an exciting, desirable, new product hits the streets. So, I'm sure that I'll give online vendors a shot again, down the road, when another need arises. Hopefully next time I need another item there won't be such a large amount of confusing, and varied information on pricing floating around, and that also next time that I need a product the availablity is better. I suspect that the high demand has caught Onkyo and others by surprise. However, it does look like most people who have recently ordered new equipment online are going to see their gear shortly.....and that fact alone is a testiment to some good service. I hope you see your item soon....sounds like the vendor you used is taking care of things.
