Adding cover art to WinMediaPlayer 11?

I've spent the last two days ripping all my 300+ CDs to my PC using Media Player 11. For most the software finds the metadata and cover art and displays it. I've got several CDs that media player found the track info for but didn't find any cover art for. When looking at Cover art icons in the player, the ones with missing art simply say "Paste art here".

Does anyone know how to local cover art to media player 11 if it couldn't find it online? I have scanned all those covers and have .jpg files for each missing image. I just can't figure out how to paste them in.

BTW, I'm cataloging all my DVD and CD media with LIBRA. It's free and can be found at www.getlibra.com I think. It finds and displays cover art for most media you enter, and you can enter all sorts of data to help it find your media information. If it can't find it you can enter your media manually.

OK, Nevermind. I figured it out. You have to find the photo and copy it to the clipboard, then right click on the music file in media player and select "Paste Album Art". Duh!

Thanks for listening!

You can just drag and drop them too and that works.

I also have used this program to make it a little easier since it will search , you select the one you want and it will make save the image (resized) as the folder.jpg or anything else and works very well.

Yes, Libra is pretty great for free software. The developer joined into another thread to say that he(she?) was still working on it to improve various things. I'm hoping for a few things like "will open media player with the CD's ripped file directory to play the songs on any album cover you double click on." and to add scanner input for UPC bar codes to help finding CD, Book, or DVD information. We'll see.

Tell the developer to quit stealing from other people's while they're at it, OK?
