Hi all, I have a Denon 3801, its worked fine until now. It goes into standby after about fifteen minutes, I then have to switch it on and off again to get it working. I havent a clue what to do I am usually a projector man, any advice?

I would recheck your speaker wire connections to make sure they are all connected properly and none of the wires are touching. That seems to be the number one thing that shuts off people's AVR's.

A blown driver, particularly a tweeter, can cause this, however it usually occurs at high volumes during loud passages. That your issue occurs in about 15 minutes indicates that it may be heat related. If it is a crossed speaker wire, the shut-down would occur immediately.
