Too many players, what to do?!?!

I highly doubt anyone can answer this question well, but here is my situation:

I currently own a Denon DVD-2900, Sony PS3, and an XBox360. I am going to trim my system down a bit and go with a better 2-channel system opposed to the decent surround system I have now. What I am wondering is in regards to CD playback sound quality, what would be the best option for sound quality:

1. The Denon DVD-2900
2. The PS3
3. Sell the Denon, and put the money towards an Arcam CD73 (which I can get a good price on)

Basically, do you think the CD73 will be a substantial improvement over my current options? Is the PS3 a good enough CD player that I can just roll with it and sell my Denon and put the cash into more music?

I would stop the "upgrade" merry go round. What indicates that your current players are not up to scratch already?

See if you can borrow that Arcam player and set up an in-home comparison. I guarantee that if you buy it first, that in itself will convince you it is better than what you already own.
