The AV123 MFW-15 has spec that says "Typical in-room response extends to 15-17Hz". Can A5-350 do the same? Its 103 score bothers

I had ordered an A3-250, but they couldn't give me an accurate shipping date estimate, plus 3 weeks had gone by. Cancelled and bought HSU VTF2-MK3 in stock, shipped next day from HSU.

My A5-350 shipped today. It is set to arrive on Tuesday 1/29/08 but I have to call fedex to have them deliver it on Wed. 1/30/08 because nobody will be here to accept delivery on Tuesday.

It is very cool how ED updates your order. Makes you more and more excited the closer it gets to shipping.

OK, people seem to try to avoid this question or simply don't have a chance to compare the eD A5-350 with AV123 MFW-15. Other than the craig ranking we don't have any comparison between these two yet. It seems the AV123 MFW-15 won on that ranking. I don't know how much difference those 3 and 4 points will make to ears and chest. Forget about their looks at this point. But A5-350 has 550 amplifier (if you chose that or ordered before the new year) and AV123 MFW-15 has only 350 on its amplifier. Will this put A5-350 at some advantages? How about the sound quality? These two fued at the 600-700 price range and I hope both be winnner.

I think it's because the AV123 sub is so new that not many have had a chance to hear that AND the eD sub. Either way, you're getting a great sub, just factor in the lead times for both, type of finish you like, and the size of the sub.

There's no "either way" when it comes to sound. To hell with finish and with size, somebody does need to compare their sound and post the impressions.

HAHA, eD billed me on 1/22 for my SW, and I didn't know it, luckly I was looking at my bills today. However, I didn't get an email saying anything about the status of my box? When I looked at eD' website my status says "box under construction"!

How far is it to shipment at this point?....I'm excited. I ordered 12/15/07.

My A5-350 arrived on Tuesday 1/29/08. I finally got it hooked up today. All I can say is WOW!!!!! This is my first HT sub. This thing is awesome. I watched some scenes from Pearl Harbor and Behind Enemy Lines (both airplane scenes) and the sub sounds very good.

I'm debating between the 350 and the Knight. I'd like to know if the rating the 350 got on Craig's was based on the 350 amp or the 550 one? How much of a difference is there between the two?

I've got a Sony 30" CRT HDTV. How far away do I need to place the A5-350 to make sure I don't get any picture interference from its magnet?

you won't affect the tv if the subwoofer is not plugged in and running. even when plugged in, I believe the effects are temporary.
