"poping sound when skipping chapters on HD movies"
Is it the receiver, the player or the software causing this? I have it too on some disk, not on all. It seems to be something about how things are working when the audio track is dropped, recovers, etc. I think something needs to keep some kind of audio signal present so the receivers aren't losing signal, regaining that signal, etc. Some way to carry over just enough of the audio signal so the receiver isn't dropping the audio synch. If that makes sense.
I was thinking about the good old days when I used to blacken in an 8 mm analog video tape so that when I captured it back to my computer for editting there was a small amount of video information on the tape even inbetween pauses, stops, restarting recording, etc., so that the video signal synch didn't drop, come back up, etc. The camcorder in playback had the black signal on the whole tape to give it just enough information to trick the internal stuff on the camcorder to think it was in synch.
If the audio track on these blurays had just enough information to keep the receiver happy, we wouldn't drop the audio synch, re-aquire the signal, etc., which is where my small "pop" is coming from. I have made myself a mental note to see if it happens with sd-dvd dts tracks. Will have to play tomorrow.
