Ok im still kinda new to Blu-Ray. One thing thats driving me nuts is on 2 out of my 11 discs i get a full image on my 16:9 display, on UltraViolet and The Host. Im assuming it was croped for Blu-Ray?

PS: Will Equilibrium come out on Blu-Ray?

Ultraviolet aspect ratio is 1:85:1. It will almost fill out your screen depending how good the overscan is in your television. Nothing to worry about.

If you want to completely fill the screen, shoose films with the 1:78:1 aspect ratio.

There's a sticky about aspect ratios here.

Most movies on high definition discs are presented in their original aspect ratio; the ones that are filling your screen are typically the ones that were originally shot at 1.78:1.
