Blurred Text @ 1080I

Is there any way to make text less blurry using 1080I? I am not web-surfing but when I get asked a question or 2 it's very hard to read any small text on my Tv at 1080I.

CRT tube with a 8600GT if that helps any.

Thanks in advance.

No (atleast that I can think of)

Unless your CRT TV is capable of actually scanning at 1080i any video you send it at 1080i will be blurry especially if it has to be downscaled to the Stanard CRT scaning rate of 480i.

I believe his TV DOES scan at 1080i, but at interlaced resolutions, text almost always looks blurry, regardless of the resolution.

Is your PC desktop resolution set to 1920x1080 so tha there will be scaling occuring and causing blurring between the generation of PC appliation text and the resolution you are outputting?
