I asked the Program Director at WBT whether they've already band-limited their audio to 5khz in preparation for HD later this month. No reply to that question, but it sure sounds that way to me. I thought the highs were a little less apparent, but not shockingly so (nobody other than a radio geek would have noticed) the other day on the car radio. At home I confirmed this with AM radios that actually have extended highs (Sony SRF-A100, GE SR-III). Anybody nearer Charlotte than me (about 80 miles) have an opinion on whether they've already the guys at 'BT have already taken the highs out back and shot 'em in the head?
