Something tells me its not necessarily the television. I have Dish, I think it is also known as E*, do you have dish as well?
It wouldnt make sense for the Television to be the issue unless it was more than a few stations, 2 out of 250, that doesnt scream problem with the TV...
We have all recognized that there is something in the TNT, TBS and ABC broadcasts that make stutter much more prevalent. If I turn on those channels I will get stutter every time, even with AMP off. In fact, I will get some stutter, on occassion, and to a much lower degree, on my Sony tube on those stations. HOWEVER, I will also get stutter on just about every other station if I turn on AMP for any period of time,,,,say 15 minutes or more. I have tried AMP on SD, and it stutters as well, and the combination of bad PQ and stutter makes me and my family ill.
Also, my wife and Son have layed down the gauntlet. I am not longer allowed to use AMP when they are viewing with me on anything other than nature shows,,,,and I can only use it on low on Football. Why? Because on every show, even if it does not do a full blown stutter, it does do a lot of slowing down and speeding up. This makes them, and myself to be honest, feel dizzy and sick to our stomachs.
One other thing I have noticed. As many have noticed in here, a still picture on this tv is friggen incredible. But once that picture moves, like a head, etc., the picture blurs. If I watch for an extended period of time, it can really make watching a chore on my eyes, and will give me a headache, and will sometimes make me feel slightly ill again. I notice this blur even with AMP on. While I love the overall tv itself, I am really starting to think this set has some major problems that are not going to be fixed. Maybe the 4ms tvs will be better with blur, I don't know, but I do know that I did not notice this kind of blur with the Toshiba LX177. The Toshiba had its own problems which I would not wish on anyone, but they did seem to have conquered the "blur issue" that I see with this tv.
