Blockbuster is owned by Viacom, who just declared their movie devision, Paramount, to be HD DVD exclusive. Does anyone really believe that the parent company will allow the child company to refuse to rent the companies own hi-def movies?
I expect Blockbuster neutrality (or perhaps even exclusivity) was also part of this deal. The HDDVD PRG is just spacing out all of the good news.
