Is LG the only company that has a dual format player out?

I am wondering the same thing, along with where folks are picking theirs up. Is MSRP still 1k?

going between $600-800 on ebay. at that price point, think i rather get a player for each format. not too comfortable with lg, plus its 1st generation.

Is there anywhere now to purchase the New Samsung Dual Format Player ????

i'm not bagging on LG at all. matter of fact, i never owned anything LG. Their pretty new in this arena, thats the only reason why i'm hesitant on their products.

My first LG product was an HD DirecTV tuner that I bought about 4 years ago. Out of 4 different HD tuners and DVR's (RCA, TIVO, and Motorola), the LG had the best HD picture of the bunch hands down.

So when LG came out with their multi-player, I had no hesitation at all, and I haven't regretted it one bit. Besides, isn't it true that everyone is new in this arena?

I have a Runco Projector upgrade being done in the very near future and was hoping to get one of the Samsung Dual Format DVD Players and have it all done at the same time. That is why I ask the question.
