Go ahead.
Take the Red Pill!

I love it where it says, " Go Ahead Take the Red Pill"

I think it would be nice to see some shorter made for TV commercials to get the name out there. That starts with Go ahead. Take The Red Pill LOL.

It would be nice if they put this on HD DVD and give it away as a promotional material at retail stores.

And make sure footage from Bourne, Shrek, BSG, Heroes and Transformers are included AND keep repeating "EXCLUSIVE on HD DVD".

HAHAH that is awesome! I also love the bits like where they show a 300 clip, then right as they cut to the next clip say over 300 titles available.. they even pimped blades of glory, which is in the short term high profile because it was ALMOST on BD.

genius!

They really need to play this promo at the theaters, in the stores, and on TV. That is the best promo they've come up with so far.

That is an awesome idea. But check this one. HD DVD PG and Universal can do that same promotion but put it on a combo disc in the standard red HD DVD cases. Have it marketed as the free pilot episode of Heroes in HD (like they are doing on XBL). They could also put trailers for all upcoming big releases like you said and maybe some high profile catalogs like Blade Runner or Kubrick just to show a variety of content.

Universal can promote the Heroes S1 boxset, Warner and Paramount can get a piece too while also pimping out HD DVD and the combo format all at the same time. Have this bonus disc given away with the purchase of any HD DVD player and have a rack of free ones right by the HD DVD end-cap for people to take home. For very little cost they could educate the public and also heavily promote their content. This is a no-brainer marketing opportunity.

The HD DVD ad-campaing has been non existent sadly, the above is a great idea although one that won't see the light of day.

Re: the online content...does the Toshiba A2 support that?

Hey what's the WW II movie about 1/3 in, which looks like the D-Day landing then shows soldiers looking at a P-51 getting shot down? I thought it was Saving Private Ryan, but there is no P-51 getting shot down in that movie.

its flags of our fathers or Letters from iwo jima

That is one compelling video, much better than a regular movie trailer. Hope to see it during NFL games soon.

"Makes your chases high speedier" Oh thats classic lol. This is a great promo, and it needs to be heavily ran.

EDIT: Does it look like Universal is updating their menu design for "Knocked Up"?

Yes. I have used the A2 for "Blood Diamond" and "300"'s online content. Worked great.
