So I'm about to buy a Samsung LN-T4661F or LN-T4665F (unless I come to my senses and get the 40") and I'm trying to decide if it's worth the extra $200 for the features on the 65F, especially once you factor in potential PQ loss from glare on the glossy panel.
I've also been considering Toshiba and Sharp, but after seeing Toshiba in person and reading about the green push, I don't feel comfortable at all with those sets. As far as Sharp, I fail to see the value in these with the current sales on the Samsung models.
Good black levels seem like they'd be extremely important because it sure seems lioke a lot of 360 games are very dark (Gears, Bioshock, R6...)
Anything else I should be considering? And if you're gonna say sony better have an arsenal of reasons because I despise that company on principle.
Usage: Heavy XBox 360 / Wii, some DVD, moderate TV (no HD currently), HTPC planned for future
Fairly low lighting, harsh late afternoon sunlight, sitting ~8'-9' away
