Problem with Playing MTS file after PS3 update

I just updated my PS3 to the newest firmware and now i am having a problem playing my high def MTS files.

I always put the RAW file onto a DVD and then play the files off the DVD in my PS3.

Now that i updated to the newest firmware the files arent playing. They start to play and then they just start skipping and its not watchable.

Anyone else having this problem?
