Using the Wii on a projector? The blaster in particular?

I really want to get the Wii, but I know in the past, light guns and such just don't work with projectors. Is this an issue with the Wii remotes, the blaster particularly, as I thought it would be cool getitng RE4 and using the baster with it.

I don't think the gun is a light gun, but just a good looking holder for your wiimote and nunchuck. This is just off the top of my head.

The Wii-mote has a low-tech camera and an accelerometer in it. The camera picks up dots of light radiated from the sensor bar. The only issue you will have with a projector is using the wired sensor bar that comes with the Wii. The wire itself is only about 10 feet long, so if the Wii will be far away from your screen, get the wireless sensor bar from Nyko. It's well-designed, with a timer function so it shuts itself off, and is actually stronger than the original Wii sensor bar.

You can see a picture of it in action, in the last picture on this page:

The Bunker DDR Room.

Good luck!

I use the Wii in my room with the wireless sensor bar and its actually very cool. Man to go back in time and show someone super mario bros on a 125" screen...whod a thunk it!! HAHAH

Don't worry. But you may want to get a wireless sensor bar ($20) instead of the one that comes with the console, since the cord is only 25 feet long.

How close does the bar need to be to the screen? The Wii would be 22ft away, but thats straight across the room, couldn't put the wire straight across.
