Refurbished Vizio's

Well, I have a Pioneer 6070 in the living room, and am looking for something for the bedroom. I have been looking at getting a 26" or 32" Vizio for the wall. Will be mainly used for tv watching. We have a 26" crt now and the size seems to be fine. Has anyone bought one of these? Are they still any good? They carry a 90 day warranty and say they are returned to manufacturers original specs. , and was wondering what your guys thoughts are on these. Thanks!

I personally have not bought a refurbished one, but I have heard great things about them, seems like a lot of them are just returns that had no problems. The worst I have heard is the bezel being a little scratched up, although they said brasso really helps to get them out.

The Costco return policy creates lots of "refurb" Vizios....either as 90 day free rentals.....or people that just wanted a better set afterwards.

I think if refurbs were for gross failures....we would hear far more vizio owners bitching.

I've had my 47" Visio refurb for a little over a month now, and it's been heaven since it showed up at the door. I'm not a videophile, but black levels, clouding, dead or stuck pixels... everything seems to be perfect as far as I can tell.
